At Gender Interactive Alliance (GIA), we recognize that transphobia and anti-gender rhetoric are not confined to any single country or culture. These harmful ideologies are part of a global phenomenon, driven by well-organized international actors and networks that collaborate across borders to propagate gender-critical and anti-trans narratives. In response to this pervasive challenge, GIA adopts an equally expansive and interconnected approach. We actively collaborate with international partners across both the Global North and Global South, forming alliances that transcend geographical boundaries. Our global engagement includes advocacy, knowledge-sharing, and joint initiatives aimed at challenging and dismantling the narratives espoused by transphobic and anti-gender voices. Through these international collaborations, GIA works to influence global discourse, ensuring that the fight for transgender rights is part of a broader movement towards global gender justice.
